Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to drive the boat ourselves?
Yes. We do require all renters to drive the boat themselves. We will go over all the instructions for driving as well as a safety briefing once we are at the dock to make sure you are comfortable with driving. Pontoons and Tritons are very beginner friendly. We do not recommend wake boats or ski boats for your first time driving a boat.
Sorry, We unfortunately do not offer captained services anymore.
Do we have to trailer the boat ourselves?
No! We do all the heavy lifting for you! Our launchers will bring the boat to the boat ramp, then our ambassadors will park it for you and give you a brief safety tutorial and send you on your way!
How many people can we bring on the boat?
That depends on which boat you’d like. Our boats can potentially seat 6-17 passengers. We do have several boats that will seat 12 passengers. Please be mindful of the weight limits listed for each boat in the description section. Please remember poundage is more important than the number of passengers.
This includes everything you plan to bring aboard, large yeti coolers, lots of bags, even pets.
Can we bring pets?
We are a dog loving family! You may see any of our dogs here during your day!
With that being said, we do value the quality and condition of all of our water-crafts and want them to remain in great condition. We do have a 2 pet limit per boat, please remember they add to your weight limit on the water-crafts. We require that the water-craft must return in the same condition that it left in. If any dogs do happen to get on the seats, please have a towel down to avoid any tears.
If, the water-craft returns with an excessive amount of the following; pet hair, dirt, clay, sticks, paw prints, seat tears/rips, seams ripped, carpet ripped, etc. detailing fees will apply and additional charges could apply if there is damage.
Detailing is $20 a foot based on the watercraft you rent. (24 ft x $20= $480) Please be respectful of this policy.
Are lifejackets provided?
Yes, all the boats will be equipped with orange safety life vests for the number of people on board. If you rent tubes, water skis or wakeboards, we will provide the appropriate life vests for all towables.
You are always welcome to bring your own Life Vests as well.
Where do we refuel?
All Customers must pay for the gas they use during the duration of your rental. The watercraft comes to you full of fuel, the renter is only charged for the fuel used. Gas will be charged to the card on file.
Customers staying on LBR for multiple days needing to refuel can top off at Lake Blue Ridge Marina. Be sure to check their hours of operation.
